I would never pick out those colors for myself, but the quilt is beautiful! To get the striped border to lay at an angle, due you cut it on the bias? I really like that feature.

PS...The Carolina Shop Hop is going on right now. Doubt I will make it to NC this year, but will do my best to get to the Upstate, SC shops. I especially like it when they have last year's blocks left over and discounted. Fast way to make up a quilt.

Nice job! I like bright colors, but doubt those would have attracted me, either. Always good to stretch your boundaries.
