We are building our pool and have decided that I like "less" concrete around the pool. Instead of the regular 4 feet, 3 feet and more grass around. (Why? because we are getting an awesome deal on concrete and also because I am super scared it will crack as many many have told me. Also, excuse the lack of grass on that portion) super quick drawing.

Pool is roman style, rectangular 14x37.

My question is... to make the pool seem its real size. (I don't want to minimize its look). Do I let the concrete run as such? (picture 1) or ask for a line to accentuate the size of the pool? (picture 2)
