I looked through my pictures and found one from end of May...I think yours is a June Fever, they like to roll up their leaves, especially in cool nights and with enough rain.

Another one from last week shows how much it is bleached out by the terrible sun this year, but the leaves aren't burned

Thanks Karin for the photos! I think it's confirmed now that mine is June Fever. I have never had a hosta that rolled up its leaves. I can see that your hosta does too. I think your June Fever is very pretty. I like the bleached look too!

Well, Jo, we have worked on the front area, but I'm slow---besides it's been so hot---so it's not completed. The tree roots in the area are many and disappointing. But I'll be adding several small spin out bags in that location and I've just finished one bag to plant there.

Your June Fever is quite large and beautiful. Very nice coloring! I love the intense yellow in the spring too and hope mine will continue to grow and look like yours and Karin's one day!

In the spring it is a nice bright yellow. I like this one in shade as I have a few that go to parchment white but not many green on green. I wonder if there's a place where it would keep it's yellow and not go white or green.

It would be nice if it would keep its stunning, bright yellow color. I have mine in a few hours of morning sun and it didn't stay yellow either.

Yours still looks kind of yellow. I can't tell, is it turning green or white?

NHL, it was an end-of-season purchase a couple of years ago with a full pot of divisions and it just kept growing. It was Barb's mature one that prompted this acquisition. :-). It sounds like so much extra work for you trying to avoid tree roots, NHL. I really feel for you. At the same time, I know the end result will have been worth all the work and frustration.

I love the coloring you have too Jo, and it is a nice size.

There's nothing like finding a good deal with lots of divisions! What could be better than that!
