Will you share more info about the kitchen? Cabinets, what color? Floor…what color? Walls, what color?

We are doing white shaker cabinets with silver hardware and a white subway tile backsplash (with gray grout). Undecided on the floor - wanted to carry the light pine hardwood that's in the rest of the house into the kitchen, but that seems like it will be too expensive. We're thinking of going with a slate-like dark gray tile or faux hardwoods that look whitewashed.

I have purchased ocean storm and am wondering if it appears as a dark gray or blue? Waiting to be installed.

We ended up going with the Ocean Jasper and absolutely love it...but we do still talk about how gorgeous the Ocean Storm was. Ha.

Here u go - it looks lovely but have to keep remembering not to put hot items on it as it is not as sturdy as granite (which I had before)

In the pictures, Ocean Storm looks so dark-almost black. What is the "real" life experience? Does it show grey or black. I so badly want to choose this quartz, but I am afraid of a blk/white kitchen look, which is perfect for others...just not my taste. Thank you

Not the best pics. Its combo of dark and light gray with white swirls. I have to say, my island is quartz and i like it much more.

We just installed ours a few weeks ago. There aren’t too many pictures of ocean storm when you google it, so I hope these will help you decide. They do look dark when standing far away and in pictures, but when you’re closer and/or in the right lighting, it’s amazing. I love it!

I’m going with ocean storm on the island and for the main counters i‘m going with Bella

I think it will lighten the kitchen as I have dark cupboards and black stainless appliances

Bella has grey and some blue veins that will complement the ocean storm

I know this is an old thread but I just fell for ocean storm and want it in my master bath. What I liked about it is that it appeared blue to me. Does it have that look in person or is it just more black/gray?

It looks so blue in my one picture and not in the other.

Is it the same sample? It could be because of the lighting in the showroom. Maybe one picture was taken under direct light. The best is to view samples in natural, day light.

They are the same exact sample. Cabinet door and quartz. That’s why I’ve been wanting to buy one online. But for some reason they aren’t available.

I too am using ocean storm in my new build for the main bathroom! It appeared black/grey to me. Love the sparkle!!

It is SO pretty! I think I’ve decided to go with something else but I haven’t completely decided against it. When you get everything together post a picture. It is absolutely my most favorite quartz I’ve seen.

Has anyone done Ocean Storm with non white cabinets? I am not a white cabinet fan and I would love Ocean Storm in my kitchen.

Thank you everyone for sharing your pictures. Helped me make the decision to go with Ocean Storm for my kitchen countertop replacement. Photos dont capture how nice the pattern works—Color can shift from black to grey depending on the lighting and photos don’t capture the quartz sparkles. Wanted to go with a dark countertop color to offset and add contrast to the lighter colored tiles/cabinets and stainless appliances.

- Silestone Ocean Storm countertops

- Same cabinets/tile floor

- Agonized over how to handle the sink backsplash. Mocked up several ideas and talked with some smart designers. Took a while to reach the final decision to do a full sink backsplash, width of the window and create a new countertop window sill. Very happy with the final design.

- Removed the original ”kitchen bar” counter seating overhang in the lower right of the pic. Never used it for seating, prefer the 8-10” of space freed up for the kitchen table/nook area out of pic.

- Cafe induction dual oven range + over range microwave/convection/air fry

- Ruvati 9” deep single bowl granite composite workstation sink—so much better than the old stainless double bowl 6” deep sink. Love the workstation features.

- Moen Kurv faucet + matching RO faucet. Price was ridiculous, but fell in love with the tapered design.
