My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Custom Window Treatments

last modified: 8 years ago

I received a quote from the Shade Store which seemed exorbitantly high for 3 medium windows + 2 tiny windows ($2500 range). I really like their black out woven material in their Natural collection (white). But not at that price. Has anyone found another brand that offers these at a substantially lower cost?

You can try Calico Corner. A couple times a year they have a 25% off sale, which helps keep the cost down a bit. The cost depends a lot on the fabrics you choose and styles you buy, but when I bought mine I spent far less than $800 per window that you were quoted and I’ve been happy with them. Their blackout lining is white, though I don’t know how it compares to other stores.
