Design Dilemma Kid's Room

playroom ideas?

Help! Want to redo this playroom- paint the walls in colors that work for a boy and girl! Any suggestions? Not sure if one or multiple colors on the walls would work?

I would save the purple and blue for accessories and paint the walls white, myself. Pillows, bean bags, storage bins, little table and chairs, art... all can be coordinated for a look that will suit your daughter, son and the grownups.

I am partial to calming colors! “Woodlawn Blue” by Benjamin Moore is popular and would look amazing!

Then you could add colorful decals on top of the pale blue walls such as these: https://www.etsy.com/listing/183128900/wall-decal-rainbow-tiny-dots-wall?ref=favs_view_16

Thank you for suggestions- our back wall is brick and other walls have wall paneling - do decals work on this?

i am not sure, what kind do you mean? perhaps you should look them up. i would think yes on paneling no, on brick. just guessing though.

I don’t think decals will work on brick. The brick wall might look best painted white!
