After the roof is done you can increase your curb appeal by getting rid of some of the green bubblegum shrubs that are hugging your foundation. Since you have a traditional style home you can use some of the existing shrubs for background as shown in my sketch below , they are mixed with blooming shrubs such as lilacs or hydrangeas. Tile over the current walkway and add a border of bricks to widen it. Add curved beds on each side filled with perennials and annuals. If the space between the front border and the curb is not too large consider replacing grass with evergreen groundcover such as pachysandra or periwinkle for lower maintenance . If room allows add two tall black urns at the entrance and fill it with colorful seasonal arrangements. You have a lovely home. If you feel more color is needed you can add window boxes to the lower windows.
