It is a pepper plant not a lemon if it is the tree in your idea book.

Get a Meiwa kumquat, Fukushu Kumquat, Or a indio mandarinquat.

It's funny, because I've seen others, on a different forum, post pics that they thought were lemon that were actually pepper. Except, in that forum, the poster INSISTED that they were lemon. I have no idea how peppers are germinating where lemons were planted. But I hope you get some great peppers (and eventually lemons!) :)

I bet you slipped up and planted peps instead of pips ..........
