Do you know what those colors were and why you didn't like them?

Unfortunately for me, I gave away the sample cans - one of them was Behr Ice Sculpture, it too has a purple look.

Why blue? Is there something in the space you want the wall color to go with?

Yes, a comforter and pillow shams that I just bought and I seem to be drawn to blue. I looked at green without success - Prescott Green by BM, Tea Light by BM, and Thornton Sage by BM. All three are too dark for my taste.

I also tried BM Distant Gray but that looks white

Blue is not a great choice for a north-facing room, since it's a cool color. What about something in the yellow family? Maybe an off-white, like BM Linen White. I have that in a north/east room and it really warms up the room without being overly yellow.

Yellow is not a color I like and off-white seems rather dull/boring.

Get a color match to a blue from the comforter.

Patricia Colwell Consulting - I thought of getting a color match but with the room having the northern exposure I wasn't sure if it would actually match once on the wall.

I've decided to go with white and hope for the best. I have tried so many different shades of blue and nothing works!
