Define modular, please. I've seen modular used to describe a double wide mobile home. And a stick built home delivered to the site on a flat bed trailer or trailers and dollies.

Most stick built modulars do not have finished flooring, at least the ones on which I have worked did not. The mobile homes on which I have worked did not have hard tile flooring nor shower surrounds done with hard tile.

Sorry this would be a stick built modular not a double wide or trailer! I was told that tile in showers have cracked and also walls. I know two people who have used the company we are going with and are very happy but then heard from a gal that there have been issues with the tile cracking so not sure what to belive. I wasnt sure if they riled before delivery or after. Thank you for any information you can give me!

The two companies with which I have experience repaired any problems caused by transportation. One home had a rock fireplace and hearth which survived the move intact. All the other cracks/etc. were in sheet rock.

You should be able to order the house in any configuration you want. That means additional set up on delivery, but adding the tile after the house is set would eliminate the cracking fear.
