Firstly, I have never attempted to graft any plants of any description but would definitely like to try creating a braided tower.. My seed pod "pink & white " flowered plants are more numerous than my space can accommodate, so I thought some experimentation would be a good way to go.. My first question is:. Is it alright to graft and braid a young plant?. Mine have just turned one year old.. My second question is:. I am considering creating a braided tower plant (following Frank's cue) but I wonder whether this involves grafting the braids together with cuts somewhere along the areas where they touch?.. Lastly, can several caudexes be cut/grafted to each other to create one large caudex instead of three simply placed next to each other?.
