An outdoor paint may be used, although it is recommended that the product not be sanded before painted, as the wood goes through a treatment for added protection, which may be lost if sanded. Please note however that this product is not intended to be painted over and we do not offer any recommendations on a paint type to use. Any issues to ensure from painting over the product are ineligible to be covered by our return policy.
