might depend on location

From my experience growing blues I would put them sunnier if I can,then when they bulk up a bit move to shadier location. One thing to remember their wax will melt so you will loose that special look in too much sun, in too much shade you will have poor growth.

I did not grow either variety though. They both fairly new, Number nine just recently came to market?

I have Parisian Silk, and it's growing very slowly due to lots of shade and lack of water because, well, I planted it under a viburnum. :-) I've limbed up the viburnum and made sure PS gets more water, so I'm hoping to see it put on some more leaves.

....If I could create the perfect situation for it, I'd think of giving it some early morning sun, bright light most of the day but no direct afternoon sun....and plenty of water. But we work with what we have so it's always a balancing act with blues. Good luck on finding the right placement for yours, and I hope you'll post pics. I don't see many Parisian Silks being shown.
