I just posted in another thread (requesting recommendations for faucets with pull-out sprays) that I have this Moen high arc pull-down faucet which I like very much,

https://www.moen.com/products/Sleek/Sleek_Spot_resist_stainless_onehandle_high_arc_pulldown_kitchen_faucet/7864SRS

I have it with two Ikea Domsjo sink (one double which is the main clean-up sink, and one single for prep), and I have no problem with it making a mess or splashing too much. It's around 17" from the spout to the bottom of the sink.

depends on which sink you have.

... and how deep it is. If you have zero radius corners, the water does not flow right. If they are rounded it's better ... but still the faucet is way too high.

I've no problem with mine either; it is a Price Pfister pull down and it is 19" from the bottom of the faucet to the sink bottom.

I love the high arc.

I have a high arc pull-down with a zero-radius deep sink (links below). It'll splash if I blast the pressure, but I've gotten into the habit of not blasting unless I need it.

I haven't measured, but it's gotta be at least 20" from the bottom of the sink to the faucet head when docked.

I have found Waterstone to be superior with regard to splashing. I think it has to do with the fact that the aerator is made in the US and is designed by Waterstone. Check out this video that I did to show the difference.

I presume the faucet is already installed. Try a different aerator to (1) restrict the flow further and/or (2) add more air to the water to soften the flow.

You can get the correct aerator from the Conservation Warehouse. Talk to one of the capable agents at 1-800-875-2955 for help in selecting the right aerator.

not installed yet. didnt purchase sink yet. was told tight radius corners will cause a splash because there is no flow with rounded corners so I would have to lower the water pressure if I went with that kind of sink. I have seen these sinks in live showrooms and they are always dirty and its hard to keep up with cleaning them. A slight radius is better but I want a shelf midway the sink... but thats another dilemma for another day. Thanks.

Geeze, people just make stuff up and say it.

Actually it was at a live showroom. The sink was disgustingly dirty because no one wanted to clean it often and its their giant prep sink for demonstrations. They lowered the water pressure and it DID splash a bit anyways.. got the counter wet. It was a pro kohler faucet. I'll figure it out. I think I will get the Brizo Artessmo. Its a little lower then most and it got nice reviews. Thanks.
