“Scott Borcherding of the Bergland & Cram firm of Mason City did the interior design restoration work on Frank Lloyd Wright's Park Inn Hotel. A citizens' group had the building restored; the firm won a major national historic preservation award last fall. The hotel is beautiful, reminiscent of FLW's Dana Thomas House in Springfield, Illinois--both are Prairie Style. The project involved the restoration of 62 stained glass windows and hotel rooms.”

“I worked with Steve on a renovation design for my cabin. He is everything you want in a professional. He is responsive, takes time to understand and clarify your needs / goals, adaptable, has great ideas and his designs exceeded my expectations. I really appreciated his adaptability as this was a "design by consensus" (extended family) project and he was asked to produce four designs. He met some tight time frames and did great work for us. I would recommend his work to family and friends and plan to work with him on other projects.”

They are upfront in the beginning with realistic expectations and pricing and follow through to match that in your build. Their quality is excellent and they have fantastic subcontractors who are willing to work with you, professional, and friendly at the same time. We built our home with Maplewood Homes 8 years ago and now are finishing our basement with them. Love, love, love the finished spaces. “We moved to Rochester from Iowa in 2013 and purchased our home from Hammer Homes after looking at a lot of options. I can tell you as compared to two other homes we had built in the past 10 years (as we have moved around the country with our careers) we have very pleased with Linda and HH. Both with their service and quality work. Throughout our building process Linda was very responsive and flexible. She has a very keen eye for detail and quality. We have been in our house for just over 2 years and although we haven't had any real issues she is very responsive to questions and happy to take a look at anything when asked. I would recommend Linda and HH to my friends and family without hesitation. I continue to get comments from friends and family who stay with us on how well built our home is built and I am happy with our decision to go with HH.”

“A new bathroom was constructed in the basement of our house. We bid the job out and Elias Construction was chosen. The main reason was he actually listened to what both I and my wife wanted. The estimate process was very detailed along with the timeline of the work. If there were any questions or requests he was easily reached and it was discussed in a timely manner. The construction was actually finished a few days early which gave us the opportunity to insure everything was done to our satisfaction. He not only met but exceeded our expectations and was able to construct the area as we pictured it and even left us more free space than we expected. Based on the work he had done for us I would recommend Elias Construction, LLC.”
