The ceiling is 12 feet. I feel the fireplace wall needs a dark colour to anchor the room and give it a warmer homey feel. I was thinking a dark charcoal with a purple undertone... (swatch can be seen in photo) Or perhaps even wallpaper? Also behind the grey shelf there is a TV and plug...should we have some shelves/built ins made and if so..what would work? Photo in comments as I couldnt see where I could add it to the original post on my phone.
