You might try Tropic snow, a white peach that has very good flavor that is readily available. It seems to be pretty disease resistant so far. Has a low chill hour requirement, about 250 hrs.

Gary:. I have thought about Tropic Snow and the only reason I have not gotten one is because the Dave Wilson website says it blooms early. Where I am that will not work due to frequent late frosts. When does yours bloom?

So glad I saw this. I do not have LaWhite but have been searching for it at the old research stations. My peach exploration got pushed aside a couple years ago for other fruits but after seeing that someone else thinks LaWhite is worth finding, I will resume my search. Let's keep in touch about this LaWhite peach.

RRoss, do not remember, and mine was in a container that could affect bloom. The Tropic Beauty bloomed very early, but Tropic Snow was close to the other varieties. Arctic Star Nectarine (white) is grown by people further north. It is a vigorous tree that has very good taste. Produced better than snow queen nectarine. Ask me in March and I can tell you when the Tropic Snow blooms.
