I don't know if this one is considered antique... My first 'old' rose purchased from Burlington after finding this forum. The blooms fall apart after a very short time and no fragrance...yet. I like it.
Her color is a little washed out in my photo... More of a brighter dark pink on one side of the petals with a very pastel pink on the other side of the petal. I have looked at the photos on helpmefind, I think it is difficult capturing the subtle beauty of this bloom...
This early hybrid teas have such a grace and elegance about them. There's a post last year in antique roses on the early hybrid teas and there were so many Beauties there. I think if I ever add any of that class that is where I'll start. Actually, I guess I already started there since I got a climbing La France and I'm getting the bush LaFrance in a couple of weeks.
