What’s wrong with my Elephant Ears?

I've grown Elephant Ears (in a large container, in the same location) for many years and it always grows very larg and looks beautiful. But not this year! Photo shows the leaves with big yellow/brown blotches on many of the leaves. Does anyone know what might be causing this?

It’s been very humid here this summer, but otherwise I’m not doing anything differently.

No, the tuber is removed from the post in late fall and stored in the basement. Then repotted in a larger pot.

Sun scorch maybe? Looks like the damaged leaves are all in the front and see to line up with the change in color on your patio. I know this time of year I have to readjust some plants as some parts of my yard that get mostly sun in June are all shade now and vice-versa. Or if they are the oldest leaves on the plant it might just be their time.
