Several years ago, I decided that I had to have an embroidery machine. So, I searched Ebay and found a Husqvarna Viking Designer 1 for sale. I thought it was a bargain so bid and won.

Now in the package came rolls and rolls of stabilizer, a full box of rayon thread and and at least two dozen embroidery programs. However these programs came on CDs and the machine only uses the small floppies. I was able to transfer some of these CDs to floppies but looked at the rest and realized I would never use them.

In my recent purging, I found them in a file drawer gathering dust.

And so my quilty friends, if any of you have an embroidery machine and would like these discs, they are yours., no charge, free, gratis.

I have taken three pictures of groups and will add them separately, along witth the titles of the discs.

If you are interested, drop me a note or even add to this post and off they go.

What a great idea, Theresa. I have some quilting books that I should give away too. I hope someone can use these.

I was floored at the price of most of these discs, $100.00 for some.

You can send disks or books by "media mail", which is cheap. You just can't put any messages inside the mail.

I have some quilting books that I'm finished with. Also, my cousin sent some for me to go through. She doesn't want any of them back. You can't get anything worthwhile for them at the used book store. I was going to donate them to the library sale, but they probably won't sell there either. Would you believe I have two copies of Eleanor Burns log cabin in a day book? I plan to keep one.

Maybe we should organize a book, disk and pattern swap.

Theresa has already heard from me, but these arrived and I'm so excited to have them! I have 5 grandchildren now so it's great to make things for them. Fun days ahead ...
