A couple of pictures would help . I for one hate plantation shutters so probably not the person who should be answering this dilemma. I think they are heavy looking, block light and views and cost a fortune.I think this look is a much nicer choice

If your windows with the arches are in the same space as the windows without the arch, I'd probably add a textured or fabric blind to the space between the window and the crown to make the windows look uniform.

Fortunately the windows with arches are not in the same rooms as the windows without except in the master bedroom. All the street facing windows have them, all the rear facing and side windows do not. Thanks for the picture...looks Ike a good option for our master.
