I love the pinks in the rug for the bed and lamps.

First off, I'm afraid of color but I think the bed could look pretty amazing in that burnt yellow color.

OR

you could strip the wood down and stain it a dark golden brown and paint the lights the yellow for a pop! (can you tell my fear of color is coming out? haha)

That bench seems at home with your rug, but the bed not so much. Depends on how "eclectic" you want to get. :)

I'd paint the bed black as it would be your "neutral" then you can go colorful with everything else as you need something to ground all the color. The beds curves also add interest which the black will highlight.

Not the best examples but might give you some visual inspiration for a black bed.

I love it!!! lol My bed is black. My first choice of any piece of furniture is black. I think I am going to use your suggestion and will post pics after. I ordered this throw what do you think? I also have 2 half round night stand I cannot use in the master but, will fit in this room. I didn't plan on using them but with the black you have me questioned that decision? I am including a pic please tell me what you think?

Also, would you use satin black, chalk paint? spray?

I'd put the room together before figuring out the night stands. The one you are showing has more of a contemporary vibe to it and even though your room is eclectic I'm thinking that with the curves of the bed that a simpler square tables may be the better way to go.

What color are your walls?

Can you post a photo of the headboard? As I think all I am seeing of the bed is the footboard?

The edging-detail piece you showed maybe with softly muted blue-green and green, so it's hardly noticeable....and if glazing color matched a bedding tassel, to tie it in.

I'm not digging this throw with your other things you've got planned for the room. Part of it being the pattern and the other being the colors in it. Would you consider instead bringing the brighter colors in the rug more into the room through the throw and pillows?

Also, is the white bedding a bed spread or more like a coverlet?

Since you have carpeting and are looking to add this rug and possibly another rug, would you consider just getting one rug that is the right size and forgo the one you show?
