Roman shades are to me a nice option to have the trim show but you do need enough depth for an inside mountand I don’t think you have the space.

Plantation shudders or wood blinds are beautiful, functional and ageless, and as they sit inside the window frame ,will not cover up the window moldings,

I'd prob do a darker woven wood type of blind. like these, only with inner mount, so as to not cover the casing. (and you could do a ribbon trim in the same blue/gray as the walls)

or a Silhouette type of blind

I never even thought about the depth to the window as to what can fit, thanks for that mention. I do like those Roman shades that can be top/down or bottom/up since the windows practically go to the floor.

Since that is the bedroom, be aware that the suggestions above will let in a lot of light. In summer months, you can get awakened at 4:30 am with very strong light coming in through slats or woven material, especially if any of those windows face east or south. Even if you are a heavy sleeper. You’ve been warned.

I have two dogs that wake me up at 5am everyday anyways....lol. I just don't want my neighbors to one day see me naked or something because I have to run from the bathroom to the closet to change, consider the window coverings my present to the neighbors that they did not know they got or know they wanted.
