I live in an apartment that does not have walls to separate the kitchen, dining area, and living room. In the living room we have a white & grey rug (pictured) and a grey couch (pictured). My roommate purchased both of those so they cannot be changed. I feel like we need a rug or something to contrast the dark wood in the kitchen table from the lighter wood flooring below it without clashing with white and grey rug only a few feet away.. what should I do? We are sticking to shades of blue and green for decor. I can’t decide on a color and don’t know if a rug would be odd under the kitchen table. I’m not good at home decor so I’m open to any and all suggestions!! Please help :)
