I'm afraid I throw out scraps that size. My scrap bin is overflowing as it is.

I've cut all my scraps into specific sizes that I use - 2.5" strips, 2" strips, 2.5" squares, 1.5" squares, and 1.5" rectangles from 2.5"' in length to 12.5" (for log cabins). I keep anything narrower but at least 6" long that can be used in making string blocks. Those tiny odds and ends get put into Zip-Lock bags and are given to the Goodwill. I hope someone can use them, but it won't be me.

I aspire to be like you, Lois, and more organized with my scraps! I typically toss out the tiniest bits, but these were speaking to me yesterday, so I used them. I like the idea of tossing them into a zippie and sending off to the thrift store for some other creative to make use of them. Thanks!

PS...Where we live, we call thrift stores (no matter their name) 'Salvation Armani' :o)

Love the card! I once did the same and handmade all my Christmas cards....seems like Christmas cards are a thing of bye-gone era.

I used to send hundreds of Christmas cards with a newsy letter about everything transpired through that year; however, when postage went up, I stopped sending. At 50¢ a stamp these days, I definitely won't be sending cards this year, either!

I quit sending paper cards several years ago. Now I email.
