My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Front door Facade Makeover

This federal style home needs a little sprucing up. The red door is beautiful, but it completely fades into the background against the dark gray facade.

    We upped the curb appeal by painting the portico off-white. We started with white, but the contrast did not work with the brick or the keystones. Everything looked dirty next to the white. We went back to the paint store and had them turn the white paint into off-white.

    Then my daughter thought we should up our design by adding paint to the dentil molding. The front of the house was plain enough that it could handle the contrast.

    Sherwin Williams Classic French Gray covers the molding. Since we custom ordered the off-white color, I don't know the name. We went with the lightest off-white we thought we could pull off.
