If I like a plant, I often want a second one the same, just in case disaster strikes. So I decided to buy another variegated Minneola from Root 98, this time a small one. I also got a premium size New Zealand Lemonade from Four Winds. I have an entry size one, and have been waiting for them to list them again. Here they are...

Once again, the Var. Minneola had a really well developed root system, and I had to put it in a larger pot. Because it was in a very tall narrow pot, I really needed the extra depth. The New Zealand lemonade's roots were fine, but didn't fill the pot it was in, and I put it in a smaller pot. The leaves of the New Zealand Lemonade look like they have quite a bit of spider mite damage, although I didn't see any mites when I used a magnifying glass to inspect it. When the weather gets a bit cooler, I'm planning to spray with horticultural oil.

I told myself that after I get my variegated minneola no more trees. Then I have been eyeing the W. Murcott.

Your minneola looks absolutely gorgeous with it's coloring. It doesn't look like a small plant because of the height. How tall is it?

Sure you are and me too. Ha! Always tempting plants around. Such pretty variegation on that Minneola! Love your plant set up in the background, that's awesome :)

Stupidlazydog, doubles add up, just ask me.lol I have several doubles for the same reason..You'll always have room for one more, or should I say a double more, not including your succulents.Ha Very nice. Love them both and your set up too))

As you said after your beautiful Euphorbia pics, it's a disease I tell ya..lol

By the way, that Euphorbia bupleurifolia is beautiful!! If it's not too late to grab a seed or two I would really appreciate it. Nice!

stupidlazydog, how many citrus trees do you have? Did you drill extra holes in the ceramic pots?

Nanzjade, more plants around the corner...

We put in this section of patio this spring. My husband said how empty a space it was and we'd never have anything to fill it, I was up for the challenge.... I think I proved him wrong :-)

Thanks Mike. Sorry the bupleurifolia seeds are all gone. Hopefully next summer I'll get more.

Denise, that variegated minneola is 28" tall, not including the pot. Funny, I had the larger pot in mind for the New Zealand Lemonade, and the smaller one for the Variegated Minneola. Turned out just the opposite.

Let's see, I have 2 Shiranui, 2 New Zealand Lemonade, an Australian red lime, a variegated Calamondin, a Meiwa kumquat, a vaniglia sanguigno blood orange, a Fukushu kumquat, and a very sad, very yellow, little Santa Teresa Lemon.

I hope I can fit them all back in the greenhouse for the winter. I bought the glazed pots at Ocean State Job Lot, pretty inexpensive. The larger ones (like the one the var. Minneola is in) have two good size drainage holes, and the smaller ones (like the New Zealand Lemonade) have one.

Very nice yard/setup you got there.

Sadly where I'm located, using ceramic/clay pot outside is a no-no. Strong wind and ceramic/clay pots don't mix. I've lost many nice and expensive pots due to the damn wind. Now I just use plastic.

Me too. Lol. I have two V. Minneola. I was affraid if I lose my only one I may not find it for sale. It was really rare back then. And , I have three V. Pink Lemon. My big one wasn't looking good and I came across some cute ones really cheap at HD, standard and bush. Don't ask me how many doubles and triples of Guava trees I have, lol.
