In Spain at the moment. Came across this quite sizeable tree which I’m thinking is a Loquat - the leaves look like the ones on one I grew from seed once, and the fruit have 4 or 5 stones, but they’re the wrong colour. I did read that they’re one of the earliest trees to fruit, so that could explain the colour being black as opposed to orange.

Expert opinion would be much appreciated.
