You probably don't have a problem You tree looks very health beyond those few leaves. Spray with a vegetable safe fungicide.

How recently was this planted? Plants coming out of shaded positions at nurseries can burn during sunny weather later when placed in full sun. If they were kept in the shade long enough beforehand that leaves were formed in the shade, that are not adjusted to full sun.

It has been in the ground since early February. The tree has been plagued by leaf miners and I think thrips on the fruit but this damage seems different. I guess maybe Ill try the fungicide and keep an eye on it. Hopefully it wont get worse.

Take samples to your nearest USDA Cooperative Extension Service office and get a reliable diagnosis - that is one based on in person examination - before applying any additional chemicals.
