How can I protect the seats?

These stools are in a vacation rental property. How can I protect the seats from cracking and what products are recommended to clean them?

Thank you for your interest in the Dylan Backless White Faux Leather Adjustable Bar Stools, Set of 2.

We recommend not using any detergents or cleaning agents on the stools and simply wiping and cleaning them with a soft, dry cloth. These stools are not suitable for outdoor use and it would be best to avoid them being exposed to direct sunlight.
