Bathrooms Remodeling Design Dilemma

shower size help please

Bathroom remodel. Would you mount a swinging glass door flush with the wall at 36 in deep OR come out another 9-10 inches or so either by glass or wall just to make the shower deeper???

Pjcat: Just ignore the inappropriate posts above. I don't know why some posters are so anxious to share their personal opinions at every opportunity when their remarks don't even address your question!

How wide is your shower space? It looks fairly narrow in the picture. I would extend the wall out a bit to get more length for your shower. 36" is not impossible to work with, but having one dimension > 36" is nice for elbow room.

Yes, absolutely, extend the wall. When you raise your arms to wash your hair, you don't want your elbows hitting the walls.

The bathroom is still in tear out mode. My husband is doing a great job.

I’m not a glass block fan, hard to clean and besides, they were about to topple over . the house was built in the 90s.
