I have a 70's ranch house with no entry way. The double doors open directly into what was once the living room, but is now our dining space. The room is 16' wide and deep (plus the 42" walkway attached to a hall). There is a 15 foot slider at the far end of the room that we want to to put our rectangle dining table in front of running in the same direction. How can we create a separation from the front door and the first third of the space that is not obtrusive or look like is floating in the middle of the room? There are amazing views out the slider we don't want to obstruct.
