How durable is hardwood floor in the kitchen? It is subject to spills and frequent mopping!

    I have a hardwood floor in my kitchen here at home. It's very durable as its constantly wet from overuse by my two toddlers. But it holds up brilliantly and look great again after every polish.

    I think prefinished hardwood stands up better but I have finished on site oak floors and they have worn through in front of the sink.
