Try 'Tomuri' - a low chill male cultivar recommended for pairing with 'Vincent'.

Still have a problem if the female doesn't bloom.

Don't know how you prune. Might be removing the wrong growth at the wrong time.

Jean, I think you are right. I did not know until I researched that it blooms on year old wood. I usually prune back hard after the first frost. I am going to leave some lateral growth this year and see what happens. The male furnishes the pollen from its blooms so I need to get busy and try to find the Tomuri as suggested. Anyone know a local source?
