They make a wonderful border. Are they fragrant too?

Love em as a border - mower wheel goes underneath them with out cutting a single leaf and in November I mow them down as they become leaf magnets. The latest blooming hosta that I know of!

That is just about the only hosta that deer bother in my yard, too. This year they have been chewed to bits by Japanese beetles. Still, the form, the color, and the fall blooms are very welcome.

I have them all along the north side of my house and they are prolific bloomers. Love the flowers but they are not fragrant.
