Gap between quartz countertop and subtop

I checked my quartz countertop installed today and found gap between countertop and plywood underneath. It seems some bead of glue raise the countertop. I’m noob in this topic but I think quartz should sit flat on the plywood, otherwise what’s the point of subtop. I’m not going to accept this, but I’m wondering what’s the option to fix it?

I'll bet the problem started with your cabinets being installed out of level. The countertop installer shimmed between the plywood and the estone to compensate. He doesn't want a callback that one side of the range is higher or lower than the other. As long as he didn't span too far between shims, it's not a problem.

I am a fabricator. Put a level on the countertop. If it's level it's as Joe said; the installer was compensating for poorly installed cabinets. Once the trim is added the gap will no longer be visible.
