Best Moss/Living Wall Art

Has anyone had any experience installing a moss wall or 'living art'? We'd like to do a large piece in our living room but have no idea where to look for something like this. We are located in Toronto, On. Any help is appreciated!

i love living walls!

i would love one in my house, but I think a large one like you have pictured is too high maintenance. They need a lot of light.

There are many smaller scale "wall planters" available, even at Home Depot and Lowe’s in Canada.

Here's the one we had installed in my husbands waiting room. It's awesome but it has a pump, lights on timers and needs regular maintenance to keep it looking good.

I have to be completely honest, it looks like a cleaning nightmare. Those plants will get dusty, and they will naturally shed older foliage as they mature. For my home, I'd rather have traditional house plants that can take a shower a couple of times a year and edible herbs that I can trim regularly and make good use of in my cooking.

And I know that didn't answer your question at all.

I've seen them for sale on Esty. They are quite expensive (imho) though. To properly care for most plants like ferns would probably be best with a watering system.

There are also preserved moss versions which likely don't require care.
