I'm painting my lower level. (KIT, DR, LR, FR,PR,Foyer/Hall/staircase). It is NOT an open floor plan, each room is separate but has wide doorway openings. My paint colors are: Dark Grey (Behr Magnet), Light Grey, a light soft golden yellow and white for trim and wainscoting. I want to use the golden yellow as an accent color. My dilemma is: If all rooms are lt grey (or magnet grey) should I paint my formal dining room or the staircase/hallway/entry foyer the yellow color? The pictures are of my current powder room done in Magnet, and the artwork is my color palette inspiration, the yellow is a google pic showing the yellow I am considering. Thank you for your help!
