I’m not an expert, but to give you a bump up the page I’ll comment. I thought you weren’t supposed to put a fridge next to a wall because the door won’t open properly. Also, this board tends to HATE corner pantry situations.

As fidlfreek wrote, your fridge placement is problematic. It doesn't look like there is any room between fridge and wall to allow the door to swing open. You need at least 3" to allow the door to swing open (that does vary depending on fridge brand and model). An angled pantry may help things some but all the same, you need to give your fridge some breathing room. Here's why:

Beyond that, it's difficult to provide more feedback without knowing the kitchen's dimensions and aisle widths. Either you have much too wide an aisle between range counter and island counter or the other aisle is too narrow.

Is this a new build or a remodel? What features are fixed? IOW, can any doors or windows be moved?

    - Def want to make sure your fridge will be able to open with that wall right there (may need a filler)

    - I personally hate corner pantries that are in the middle of the kitchen, interrupting the counters. But this one is out on the edge - def better.

    - the DW isn’t labeled - I’d put it on the right side of the sink

    - pot lights work better if they’re over the countertops - if they’re back from them, then your head will shadow your working area. Also, aware you planning under cabinet lights?

    - is seatin planned at the island? Thoughts on adding a smallish prep sink?

    - an angled corner upper cabinet appears to be shown, maybe worth checking out Easy Reach corner cabinet instead

    - where are you planning on putting your trash?

    - are you doing a double sink? #TeamSingleBowl

    - do you have dimensions that you can share?

Not a fan of the corner pantry - straighten that out and put cute "pantry" doors on it - it will still give you great storage. This will also allow you to pull the island a little closer - seems far out.

It is hard to tell whether things are adequate without dimensions.

When doing an open plan like that with the dining room, you want to be sure to lay that out as well. If those are sliders to go outside, then you will want about 4 ft from that wall to the edge of the table. From the table to the island you will want at least 5 feet so that people can sit at the table and the island at the same time - I would push that to 6 feet.

    Cute pantry door ideas:

    Good luck!

    yes new build
yes DW is to right of sink
    trash to right of DW?
    yes seating at island
    ok I'll flatten pantry
we like lots of space between island and back counter....almost a peninsula with a walk thru.
could a prep sink fit between fridge and range?

    Thanks for all the ideas.
    Flattened pantry
    Put sink on island.

    How does that look?
