The seeds on the right are like our Swamp MW seeds we gathered at our pond, but would like to find out if possible what the seeds on the left might be.

The pod of the seeds on the right above were from this pod on the right, which is down by the pond and could be Swamp MW. The pod on the left was the pod on the MW in the field. Maybe Common ?

Are the plants still green enough that you can take recognizable pictures? All milkweed seeds look similar, and the pod on the left looks small for a common milkweed seedpod, maybe could be A. sullivantii, but without a picture of the plant, it's very hard to tell.

Thanks, I'm sure it will help. I have several different species of milkweed seeds, and they pretty much all look the same, just some are bigger than others. Even the seeds of the related dogbanes and Hoyas have seeds that look identicle.

This MW had the larger seeds

And this MW had the seeds seen on the right picture.

There are a few different milkweeds that have leaves like that, so seeing flowers would help at being 100% sure, but from looking at the plants I'd say that the one with the larger seeds is Asclepius syriaca, and the plants with the smaller seeds are Asclepius sullivantii. Both of those species have pink/flesh colored flowers. These 2 milkweeds are more abundant than most of the others. A couple other species with similar leaves are purple milkweed, and showy milkweed. Both have striking flowers which you probably would've noticed.

Thanks Jay, i think you are right . It's just amazing where the seeds fly, end up, and the plants appear out of nowhere. Lot's of their seeds will be saved now and planted next year for hopefully more butterflys.
