ok so just moved into a much larger home, with a few new rooms. One being a Foyer, so everything in the room is new, but i've hit a brick wall on decorating. I'm not sure what color the drapes should be, i was thinking Navy blue to match the rug, but wasn't sure. The room is done in navy blue, gold and whatnot, what do you guys think. Any other decor ideas would be great. The first picture is a design idea that i'm going for with the bay windows. The curtains will frame the windows as decor, not so much to cover them, i like a lot of light coming in. and i thought the rope around the curtains was lovely and wanted to do that in gold. Any other decor ideas are appreciated, lots of spots are still bare. The painting above the couch i had custom painted for me, and was thinking maybe a small shelf on each side?

i was thinking on the coffee table i would add a tray and a floating candle centerpiece with blue orchids, and maybe a vase with flowers. we are moving 1 step at a time so it is still kinda bare, but any advice for decor and window treatment would be so helpful, these are the curtains i was thinking of, however if you find better looking ones would love to see

on this i would only get the pieces tied back, no need for the full sheer piece or valance
