Help! I’m being “pulled” in too many different directions....

Hi Everyone,
We’ve done a new white kitchen. All of my ideas are derived from Houzz. How did people do new design projects before Houzz? Anyway, I digress. My question is, I need help with kitchen pulls. WWHD? What would houzz do? I need inspiration. Here are a few pictures but remember, we aren’t there yet. Also, need inspiration on window treatments...so solve my pull issue first then tell me what to do for our windows. Should we do “gold”? Black? Knobs? Pulls? I am doing crystal pulls in the area where the glass doors are. And I have included a photo of our backsplash so you will know what that will look like. Notice the “gold” light fixture in our dining room. And notice my dog, Ava. She thinks there is a treat involved whenever we walk into the kitchen. Thank you in advance!

You need to go chrome or stainless or brushed stainless, your appliances dominate and you must bow to them! ID is probably right on the style and the color. I think your backsplash is gray tones amidst something not quite white? I think you get the award for Best Kitchen making use of Gray, Taupe, White, Silver, Stainless, Gold and it doesn't look like Freckles Gone Wild(who isn't sick of speckled countertops?) OR a Hospital. I think the butcher block is a genious touch on your great countertops of Corian? are they. I hope you can find some additional basket weave porcelain design canister, spoon rest, fabric valance or placemat to continue the weave of your backsplash. So very pretty!!!! You have pulled together a Houzz Kitchen. A balance of all neutrals and a feeling of warmth, tradition, and modern in what is NOT a HUGE area, but rather a very efficient and effective layout and design. Yours is what every Cook WANTS her kitchen to look like, but so many just can't quite pull it off...because they get rushed I guess? Thank you for sharing. A good reference for those who wonder "What does a nice modern home kitchen look like?" Yours.

Kudos to you for doing the beautiful and classic marble basket weave pattern for your backsplash ! Something different from the so commonly used subways - and so pretty and timeless. Please post pictures when it has been installed ! I would use polished chrome or nickel for your hardware for a bit of sparkle and to match your K light fixtures. Knobs on the doors and handle pulls for the drawers. For the knobs I would look for something with a bit of embellishment at the base of the rim. A fabric Roman shade would be pretty at the window - in a print. What colors do you like and what are the colors in nearby rooms in your home ?

Not black. It's boring and predictable (and doesn't 'go' with anything except the glass panels in the ovens). A gray/stainless/dark metal that echoes the dots in the backsplash and the appliances would be good.

Main thing keep it simple! I would go with polished chrome perhaps one with a twist.

I did curved pulls in chrome with your same colors and style cabinets. I dont like knobs.

Liz Schupanitz Designs: "Polished nickel is different from satin nickel. The polished is shiny and can tarnish over time; satin nickel is a brushed finish that can show fingerprints easily. I personally like polished nickel the best for its warmth... Ashley Norton--Your only choice in the Hex pull in white bronze. They don't make it in the other finishes but the white bronze blends well with nickel in general."

Brushed stainless pulls would be my choice. The gold dining room light is in a whole different room. Black is too harsh.

You have all silver finishes in the kitchen with the light fixtures being features so I would stay with the stainless finish for the pulls so things don't start completing with each other.

Stainless like the appliances and no crystal knobs this kitchen really is not a style that would use crystal knobs. BTW that island should never have been added

The countertops are Calaccata Natural in a matte finish. They are gorgeous. I’ve got a couple cool features I will show you once we get our backsplash up and our new pulls which I so appreciate getting advice from so many of you! I am feeling good after your wonderful comments...thank you!

I love your kitchen. I am in the middle of my renovation too.. At first I did not like my pulls but now I love them with my marble. Go with brushed nickel or gold. You will love it in your space. This one below is the one I chose. I have white shaker cabs, with marble counters and stainless appliances. I wanted something simple for my space. I went with all pulls. I am also doing grass blinds with white and blue drapes to go with my navy island.
