what is you media? coir?

There is less then am inch of coir the rest of the dixie cup had my version of gritty mix. I put the seedings on the modem and they have relaxed after an hour. So now I know warmth helped. But the modem can get in the 80°

I’ve usually found that living here in a cooler climate it’s best to sow in early spring to get as much growth on during the year to help the youngsters get through the coldest months rather than an early autumn sowing :-) I know you still have to keep them warm in the early days doing it that way round but I’ve had better results in overwintering the seedlings as they were stronger and bigger......even if I did kill off more than I care to recall at much later stages!

I always have killed them at three months and under. I really want to succeed.

You are sure busy catching up on here. It is a lot slower now. I miss several others too. Even with your weather problems and growing. You have shared great ideas or teasing-s :-)

Marica, my seedlings did very well under LED ligh bulb. Don’t remember brand but it was purple and pretty strong light from Amazon. You just screw it in regular socket, nothing complicated. Wish all the best to your babies!
