I have several of her intros, Crazy Cat Lady, Holiday in the Clouds, and Alice in La La Land. I have found that whether or not one does well here does not seem to be determined by whether it is a northern grown or whether it is evergreen or dormant. Most of them do very well here, but occasionally, one doesn't like it, or doen't like where it is planted. Her plants are always so healthy, and seem to get of to a really good start here, whether they are her intros or someone else's. I agree, Avedon, her new dips are really pretty.

Avedon, I am with you in having always liked/wanted Andie's Chocolate Shoppe since I first saw it ! I have a file on my computer of daylilies I want . It is one of the first 3 . The others ( in the first 3 ) are Buddy's Spook or Twiggy's Lavender ( both look somewhat similar) and another called Fizziwig . All are unusual in their own right. Of course there are many more in that file but Andie's CS caught my eye a long time ago

Kay that is an interesting observation . I have made the same observation in regards to some of Curt Hanson daylilies that I grow here . Some grow like crazy like Integrated Logistics while others like First Officer's Log which has been here 2 years and only about a foot and a half away from IL has yet to bloom . I was hoping to see it bloom this year but no luck . It better bloom next year or it will get moved to out near the chickens and not get prime location in the bed near the house.

It is odd, signet, but Some cultivars seem to be Soooo sloooow to bloom. I bought oe of Ledgewood's, Jungle Music, and it did not bloom until its third year. It has bloomed and usually re-bloomed well ever since. I have decided I have several more that I can live without, so more are leaving. I received my Wacky Wednesday today, Avedon, and she sent I Have a Confection as well. I don't know where it is going yet, but I will keep it and see what it does,
