Just a few blooming today

I got pictures of three of the four blooming in the garden today. All of these are rebloom scapes.

Mary Ethel Anderson is one of my favorite minis. It has two scapes now which are nicely branched. It was planted last summer and has grown into a nice clump already.

Hot Pepper is another nice mini. It is taller in my garden than it is registered.

Priscilla's Dream has scapes that fall over. (Ignore the newspaper. We need to put down some mulch.)

The rest of the pictures aren't daylilies, but at this time of year, you appreciate any flower that comes along.

The hibiscus take a while to get going, but are blooming nicely now.

This hibiscus is unnamed.

Bob has been growing hibiscus since before I met him. Here are two he has had forever.

Kona Improved

Anderson's Double Yellow Red. The yellow part of the name is confusing until you look on the backside of the petals.

The gingers are all in bloom too. This one is Hedychium "Tai Spirit'.

Bob has another banana in bloom. This is Musa velutina.

Yup, Nancy , you are right , any bloom these days is very much appreciated . Thanks for sharing those images. Your ginger and unnamed hibiscus catch my eye especially today I dont grow many short daylilies so I would never see these ones in my gardens but I sure do aprpeciate seeing them here !

Nice Minis, Nancy, I grow a few here, great for border edges. The hibiscus is lovely.

Any color is pretty in the garden this time of year! I don’t grow many minis (!) but Mary Ethel Anderson looks nice as do the hibiscus. Don’t apologize for the newspaper-I use tons of it under my mulch!!

The first two minis look very well budded. You should have them blooming for awhile. I enjoyed seeing your hibiscus varieties.

I like the markings of Priscilla's Dream, though I wouldn't like the falling-over part. That ginger is spectacular!

Very nice--love all the pictures. Do you have to take your gingers and banana inside when the weather turns cold?
