Any thoughts on hanging Hunter Douglas Nantucket shades below transoms on windows & leaving transom exposed opposed to placing shade cassette at the top of the transom? My concern is hiding the transom. I really prefer not to do that. The transom is not large & if we placed the cassette at the top of the transom, it would cover almost half of the transom. Our windows are 7 feet with the transom & 6 feet without the transom. A couple people mentioned that we would make the windows appear smaller if we placed the shades below transom. Any suggestions? I would love to attach pictures, but I don’t know how to. Thanks!!
