our split level foyer presents a half wall in the only living area and the ceiling of the main foyer closet.

I want to top and possibly trim the 2 areas. The half wall for display, the closet ceiling for display and a tray for keys etc.

looking for ideas, photos etc.

both areas are painted and do not wear well. it also has rounded dry wall corners.
