I would take the crown around the corner of the soffit, and return it just shy of the next corner to the other room.

i'd skip another crown, the solutions are just eye-catching in a not good way. you already have a crown there.

Otherwise, I agree with others, not needed since you already have crown on the cabinets, and will look too busy and contrived.

It is not a must, but i thought it would look nice with it. However, i couldn't figure out how to end the crown moulding in that area, so my wife doesn't want to do it.
