I would not use anything black because it clashes with the frame of the console. Can you please post a photo without the accessories which will show the console against the wall and include the space it fills?

Yes...seeing more of the space would help. Just based on the first photo, I would lower the clock, as seen in njmomma's example.

I think the candle holders are too white
I think the plant is too large

How about a mirror or some art instead of the clock? Then a small mirrored tray and a floral arrangement.

Sorry for the delay - I wasn’t getting notifications! Here are some more photos. Also for the person who suggested a mirror instead of clock - the console itself is mirrored so that’s why I’ve been avoiding a mirror and got a clock. Also keep in mind I have a 2 year old toddler so I am purposefully limiting what goes on the floor. We do have a coffee table that matches the console but chose to temporarily move it elsewhere.

The clock, vase and candlesticks look pretty generic. How about one-of-a-kind artwork to give this space a personal unique touch? If you don’t have any (yet), put that toddler to good use and have him/her paint a big bold abstract!

It sounds like you are being safety-conscious with a todldler around, and that is great. With a toddler around, this table is actually unsafe.

I would buy a huge art triptych and place it on the wall. If you want to add blue into the space, I'd get some blue pillows. The small art beside the windows is too small.

On the table itself the candleholder and the candles are too much the same color. Replace the greens with something a little lighter and taller. In the center, utilize a cpl books you have around (bind towards the wall if too colorful) and place decorative object on top (two smaller frames of different sizes, sphere, burst...). On the floor (either now with faux plants or when the kiddo gets bit older) planters would be lovely. See a few photo thought starters.

The giant clock thing is over thank god. Get a nice piece of art to hang there no fake greenery, and a nice lamp would be good if you have a receptacle there . You could then add a vase with fresh flowers whenever you wanted to add some color.

I am going to put the toddler into the picture....you have at least a year of toddler-danger to consider. Eliminate anything glass or ceramic within the child's reach. It's too easy to knock over and break glass things on low tables.
Wooden candle holders and a reed basket on the console would be safer. A picture hung on the wall completes the console arrangement.
Remove breakables from other low surfaces. Baskets can hold toys, wood for a fireplace, magazines, a couple of soft throws. I am also hoping the giant clock thing is about over.

Try framed art with some color, not the generic big clock. Basket with relatively harmless seasonal decor such as mini pumpkins and gourds for the toddler to take down and play with. Change the items seasonally.

I like your clock and understand why you want to use it. Lower it somewhat , and do something similar to what NJMomma has shown.

Something is off-centered. The clock does not look like it's centered with the console. The clock and console are both nice!

Safety note. Mount the TV to the wall before your toddler pulls it down on him/her self. Trust me and all those YouTube videos, toddlers are faster and smarter than we give them credit.
