So glad you're not going with the white with black windows. So overdone already and it would have dated your house.

How about blue/gray siding with off white trim and a yellow or red door? Always a classic that will stand the test of time.

Changes during construction result in added costs, and often may be not well considered due to the self-induced pressure. These are the sorts of decisions which should be well thought out and confirmed well before construction begins.

I think Sherwin Williams Gauntlet Gray with Pure White for the trim would look great with your windows.

I think gray would be nice but not with gray trim. Use white or soft white.

Thanks for the input. The white board and batten with black windows is def a look and I love it on many houses. But The white tarvek with the windows in gave me a preview of what the white will look like and I’m not loving it. The grey/blue with white trim seems more traditional than I’m going for. Thinking Of something like below. If I opt for a warm white/light beige, would you suggest white trim?

So. While white/black may be trendy?? i would be a millionaire if I could collect a buck for every. Freaking. Grey. And white. House. Thank you hardie for the 4 house colors that now exist.

1) do you have to pick from a color offered by the siding company? If so, pick white. It is the least overdone.

2) can you pick ANY COLOR? I know we can do better than grey. How about barn red and charcoal trim? Chocolate brown? A dark taupe or olive green?

Im very surprised people are suggesting grey as a less outdated solution to white.
